The Nightclub โ introduced in the After Hours DLC โ remains the single best passive income source in GTA Online. Unlike other businesses that demand constant supply runs, the Nightclub runs itself once set up correctly. Your technicians gather stock from your other businesses in the background while you do literally anything else in the game.
There are two income streams running simultaneously: safe income from club popularity, and warehouse income from goods your technicians accumulate. The warehouse is where the real millions come from.
Open your in-game phone, go to the browser, and visit Maze Bank Foreclosures. Filter by Nightclubs โ there are 10 locations available across the map. All locations earn the same amount, so location is purely about convenience and your budget.
After purchase, you'll be contacted by club manager Tony Prince. He'll walk you through three quick setup missions before the club opens for business. These are mandatory โ run them straight away.
Not all upgrades are created equal. Some directly boost your earnings; others are pure cosmetics with zero financial impact. Here's what to prioritise and what to skip.
| Upgrade | Cost | Effect | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Equipment | ~$1,425,000 | Doubles warehouse production speed. Biggest impact on earnings. | Must Buy |
| Staff | ~$475,000โ$500,000 | Slows down popularity decay. Less time spent on promo missions. | Must Buy |
| Storage Space | Up to ~$1,700,000 | Increases warehouse capacity. More stock = bigger sell missions. | Nice to Have |
| Security | ~$695,000 | Reduces raid chance. Only worth buying once you're fully established. | Nice to Have |
| Light Rigs, Dry Ice, Dancers, etc. | Various | Purely visual. Zero effect on income or production speed. | Skip |
Your five technicians are the backbone of the warehouse operation. Each one is assigned to a different business, and they passively accumulate goods from that business into your Nightclub warehouse. You do not need to run supply missions for the linked businesses โ just keep them in active status.
Each technician earns goods for a different product category. Here are all the categories and what businesses they pull from:
Popularity controls how much money goes into your wall safe each in-game day (every 48 real-world minutes). At full popularity the safe fills at $50,000/cycle and caps at $250,000 โ collect it before it fills or Tony will start spending the overflow.
Popularity decays naturally over time. Here's how to keep it topped up:
There are four DJs to hire and rotate between: Solomun, Tale of Us, Dixon, and The Black Madonna. Any DJ works โ swapping between them is what restores popularity, not who you pick. Choose based on the music you want to hear.
When your warehouse has enough stock built up, it's time to sell. Access the laptop, go to Sell Goods, and you'll be given a delivery mission. All sell missions use a single vehicle โ making this completely solo-friendly no matter how much stock you have.
Here's how the different income streams stack up per hour with all upgrades in place:
Figures are approximate and vary based on upgrade status, session type, and bonus event weeks. During active bonus event weeks (e.g. tripled daily income), earnings can reach significantly higher.
